Government has directed the Nepal Oil Corporation(NOC) on Thursday to reduce the price in petroleum products, as an attempt to get relief from the students’ nationwide protests and demonstrations

Government has requested NOC to cut the price in petrol by Rs.3, in diesel and kerosene by Rs.4, and in Liquefied petroleum gas by Rs.85.

Now petrol per litre will cost Rs.112 and a cylinder of LP gas will cost Rs. 1415.

Government is also attempting to provide petroleum products to students, and those who earn less, in a subsidized price. The working plan on the same will be unveiled within a month, confirmed a government officials.
